Information Sharing Protocol

The purpose of this Information Sharing Protocol is to provide a framework to facilitate the appropriate sharing of information between all the Partner Agencies in order to safeguard and promote the welfare of children across Berkshire and to protect them from harm.

What do we mean by information sharing?
Information sharing in a safeguarding context means the appropriate and secure exchange of personal information, between practitioners and other individuals with a responsibility for children, in order to keep them safe from harm.
